Mens' Section

Management Committee
Five men are required to serve on the Management Committee of the bowls club.
Club Bowling
All standards of bowling are catered for within the men’s section as follows:
Casual: Practice/roll-ups are permitted at any time providing that rinks are available. Non-members can come and try the game for a maximum of four sessions per season at a cost of £3 per session, and must be accompanied by a club member.
Men are welcome to play in the Wednesday afternoon roll-ups.
Friendly Games: There is a full fixture card of good class friendly games against other clubs on Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the season.
Affiliations
The Men’s section is affiliated to Bowls England, Warwickshire Bowling Association and the Bowling Association. All competitive bowling takes place in accordance with the rules of these Associations.
The above bodies also have tours (except the BBA), AGM’s and presentation lunches.

Warwickshire Vice-Presidents Association
Membership of the Vice-Presidents Association is open to all. The Association has a full list of friendly fixtures for which club members can put themselves forward.
Birmingham Bowling Association (BBA)
The BBA has a comprehensive set of fixtures played mainly on Sundays. Members are invited to nominate themselves if they wish to
play in any of these games.
The BDWBA also run the following competitions, played by set dates, throughout the season:
2 Wood Singles
Pairs
Fours
Under 25's Singles
4 Wood Singles
Triples
Mixed Pairs
These are entered at the beginning of the season.
The club also enter the Jubilee Trophy, which is played on a set day.
BBA League:
BBA League games are played on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. There are two divisions of the BBA League and Bournville are represented by an A & B side.
Evergreen League
The Men's section enter two teams in the Evergreen League, which is played on Monday or Wednesday afternoons and consists of two rinks. Members must be over 55 years of age to be eligible to play.
Club Competitions
Three competitions (4 Wood Singles, 4 Wood Pairs and 4 Wood Handicap Singles) are run throughout the season on a knock-out basis culminating on Club Finals Day.
Mixed Triples, the Eric Marlow Fours, Managed Drawn Pairs, Under 25's Open Singles, Over 60's Singles and Over 60's 2 Wood Drawn Pairs are also run.
